As most of you may know, the 1st of May is Greek Easter 2016 (Pascha!) so whilst Easter might be in the past for some of you, for us Greeks we’ve got it all to look forward to.
It’s set to be a weekend filled with sharing dishes, succulent souvla, homemade pastries and more. My donkey chefs will be serving up my favourite Lamb souvla from award-winning butchers Aubrey Allen which is available by the KG – perfect for you and a group of friends to enjoy. As always, I’ll have a wide range of Greek beers and wines on offer like Chrisohoou Xinomavro 2008 red and Aspra Homata Debina/Malagouzia white, and of course ouzo & tsipouro to toast the occasion. Who said Easter was all about chicks and rabbits, us Donkey’s like to get involved to!
